What Is Laser Treatment, and Why Am I Still Having Symptoms Even After Getting It Done 15 Days Ago?

I underwent laser treatment about 15 days ago. The procedure was explained to me as a one-day hospital process, where anesthesia is given, and the treatment is done using a small pencil-like laser device, not by injecting anything into the body. After the treatment, I was told that the problem might recur in the future. I was also given some form of treadle or support. I want to understand whether this is normal and what I should do next if I’m still facing issues.

Laser treatment is usually a minimally invasive, single-day procedure performed in a hospital setting. During the process, anesthesia is administered, and the affected area is treated using a precision laser device, which helps reduce pain, bleeding, and recovery time compared to traditional surgery.

Since your treatment was done 15 days ago, it is possible that the area is still in the healing phase. Some patients are informed beforehand that symptoms may recur depending on the severity of the condition, bowel habits, or post-procedure care. The treadle or support provided is often meant to help manage symptoms during recovery.

At this stage, it is strongly recommended to consult a doctor in your nearby location. The doctor can examine the treated area, assess healing progress, and advise proper precautions or additional care if needed. A follow-up consultation is important to ensure that recovery is on track and to prevent future complications.
