Cataract Surgery Availability, Cost Without Insurance, EMI Options, and Doctor Consultation
6 months ago
I have been facing a cataract problem for the last 3–4 months. I have already consulted a doctor, and I am also a diabetic patient. I would like to know whether cataract surgery is available, where the hospital locations are, and what the cost of surgery would be since I do not have insurance. Please also explain whether EMI options are available, how the surgery is done, the consultation fee, and when I can meet a senior surgeon.

Yes, cataract surgery is available with us across multiple locations, including hospitals throughout Tamil Nadu and in the Delhi NCR region such as Delhi, Gurgaon, and Noida. For you, the nearest center is Gurgaon Sector 38, with additional branches in Delhi.
Since you do not have insurance, the total cost mainly depends on the type of lens selected. The minimum cost starts at around ₹32,000, while premium lens options go up to ₹39,000. This cost includes complete eye testing, lens implantation, and medicines used during surgery.
The procedure is performed using advanced laser technology, takes about 10–12 minutes, involves no stitches or injections, and the patient is discharged on the same day.
Cataract surgery is a one-time procedure, and the implanted lens does not need to be changed later. We also offer no-cost EMI options that can be availed on the same day of surgery, with flexible plans for 3, 6, 9, 10, or 12 months.
The doctor consultation fee is ₹600, which includes one-time testing, and post-surgery follow-up is free for one month. You can visit the hospital today to consult a doctor however, if you specifically wish to meet Dr. Varun, the senior surgeon, he is available on Wednesdays from 10 AM to 4 PM.
You may consult the doctor and, if everything is suitable, plan and proceed with the treatment accordingly.
