I am very concerned about my privacy for this. If I go to a clinic for MTP, will the hospital keep it confidential? Are minors required to have parental consent for abortion pills in India?

In India, your privacy is protected by law when it comes to abortion. Hospitals and clinics are not allowed to disclose your details to anyone without your permission.
If you are above 18 years of age, you do not need anyone else’s consent and can make the decision yourself. For minors under 18, parental or guardian consent is required.
Doctors are bound to maintain confidentiality, so you can feel safe discussing this openly with a qualified gynecologist.
