Cataract Eye Surgery Process, Check-up Cost, and Hospital Options in Delhi

My mother, Mrs. Dhanmati, is 65 years old and lives in Delhi. She recently had an eye check-up about 2–3 months ago, which was done for both eyes. She has diabetes, but her sugar levels are currently under control. We also have health insurance with Vidal Health. We want to know which hospital is best for treatment, whether we need to visit for a check-up first, what the treatment process is, and how soon the surgery can be done. Please guide us.

Since your mother is 65 years old and her diabetes is well controlled, she can safely proceed with further evaluation.
The first step is a detailed eye check-up, which costs ₹1,200. After the check-up, if surgery is advised, it is usually scheduled the very next day, depending on the doctor’s assessment.
She has not visited Mahajan Eye Center before, but we strongly recommend it as it is one of our best clinics and is very close to your home in Rohini, Delhi.
There is also another hospital available on Mirabad Road, South Delhi, but for convenience and quality care, Mahajan Eye Center is preferred.
