Cramping and spotting after IUI normal signs or reason to worry?
After her IUI, my cousin experienced mild cramping and spotting. She is worried. Are these normal signs after the procedure, or should she see the doctor immediately?

Mild cramping and light spotting are fairly common after IUI because of the catheter insertion and ovulation medications. These symptoms usually subside within a day or two. Severe pain, heavy bleeding, fever, or unusual discharge are signs that require immediate medical attention.
Keeping track of symptoms and following post-procedure instructions, such as avoiding strenuous activity for a short period, is important.
Routine follow-up and a pregnancy test at the recommended time help ensure everything is progressing safely.
