Does Insurance Cover My Treatment, What Documents Are Needed, and Why Is Laser Treatment Preferred Over Open Surgery?

I wanted to confirm whether my treatment is supported under insurance and what documents are required for appointment confirmation. I also asked if a full body checkup is included under insurance and what precautions need to be followed after surgery. Additionally, I wanted to understand why laser treatment is preferred over open surgery and whether weight loss treatments like heat radiation or massage have any side effects. I’m also looking for guidance on what lifestyle changes I should follow post-treatment.

Yes, the treatment is supported under insurance, and your appointment confirmation will be shared on the scheduled date. For insurance processing, you will need to submit Aadhaar card (front and back) and PAN card. Full body checkups are generally not included directly under insurance, but if admission is required, tests can be done during hospitalization, or reimbursement can be planned later based on consultation and treatment needs.

After surgery, there are no major restrictions. Patients are advised to maintain proper hygiene, avoid sitting continuously for long hours, keep a 2-hour movement gap, and ensure free bowel movement. There’s no need for prolonged bed rest, and working professionals can comfortably plan treatment over weekends.

Laser treatment is preferred because it is an advanced and minimally invasive technique. Unlike open surgery which involves stitches, blood loss, longer hospitalization, and weeks of bed rest laser treatment offers faster recovery, minimal discomfort, and equally effective outcomes.

Regarding weight loss treatments, options like bariatric or weight loss procedures are available. Heat-based therapies or massagers may have side effects, so they should be used cautiously. For sustainable weight loss, doctors generally recommend balanced meals, yoga, home workouts, or gym exercises, which are safe and effective in the long run.
