Early Pregnancy Signs Before Your Period Is Even Late
3 weeks ago
I've been feeling off for the past week slight nausea in the morning, sore breasts, and I'm going to the bathroom more than usual. My period isn't due for another 5 days. Can these things actually be pregnancy symptoms, or am I reading into it too much?

Yes, these can be real early pregnancy signs. Your body starts reacting to rising hCG as early as 6–8 days after conception, often before a missed period.
Common signs in this window: tender breasts, mild nausea, fatigue that feels different from regular tiredness, increased urination, light spotting (implantation bleeding), and bloating.
That said, these symptoms overlap with PMS, so they aren’t reliable on their own. The only way to confirm is a pregnancy test, but most home tests aren’t accurate until the day your period is due. Testing earlier often gives false negatives.
If your period doesn’t come, test on the expected date or 2–3 days later. If the result is negative but symptoms persist and your period still hasn’t arrived, test again after 3–4 more days or see a doctor.
