Egg freezing success after 38 is it still possible?

I am 38 and considering egg freezing, but I am worried that it may be too late and that success rates might be very low. How do age and egg quality affect the likelihood of successful fertilization and pregnancy in the future?

At 38, egg quality declines naturally, which reduces the chances of fertilization, implantation, and live birth. Women may require more retrieval cycles to obtain an adequate number of eggs, and some eggs may not survive thawing.

Success rates are significantly higher when eggs are frozen before 35, but freezing later can still offer a chance of pregnancy.

Fertility specialists often recommend realistic counseling about outcomes, the potential need for multiple cycles, and consideration of using donor eggs if age-related decline is significant.
