Facials vs Laser or RF Microneedling , What Works Best for Anti-Aging?
I’m 40 and looking for long-term anti-aging options. Should I commit to regular facials like hydra facials, or is it better to start medical treatments like laser resurfacing or RF microneedling?

At 40, facials like hydra facials are great for maintenance, but they cannot reverse deeper aging changes. They help with hydration and day-to-day glow, but long-term anti-aging benefits usually come from collagen-stimulating treatments like RF microneedling or fractional lasers.
These target fine lines, laxity, and uneven texture more effectively. Most people follow a combination approach where they do medical treatments a few times a year and facials in between for upkeep.
Your choice depends on how visible your aging concerns are, but if you want lasting results rather than short-term glow, medical procedures offer far more meaningful improvement.
