How challenging is the IVF journey overall?
I’ve heard IVF can be physically exhausting, emotionally draining, and financially overwhelming. As someone already anxious about needles and medications, how difficult does the overall IVF journey actually get, and what kind of support do couples usually need to manage everything?

The IVF journey feels overwhelming mostly because of the uncertainty, not the physical discomfort. The injections are smaller than routine vaccines and become easier once you get used to them.
The scans and visits can feel tiring, but they’re manageable for most people with flexible planning. Emotionally, the process does bring anxiety because you are waiting for results at every step.
Most couples do well when they have realistic expectations, honest discussions with their doctor, and support from a partner or counselor. Many clinics also offer emotional counseling or support groups.
The journey feels much less frightening once you understand each step clearly and know what to expect.
