How long do TB treatment side effects usually last, and should I be worried?
I recently started treatment for TB, and while I understand that the medicines are important, I’ve been experiencing some side effects like nausea, weakness, and loss of appetite. It’s making me a bit anxious because I’m not sure how long these side effects are supposed to last. Are they temporary, or something I should be concerned about?

Side effects from TB treatment are quite common, especially in the initial few weeks of starting medication. Symptoms like nausea, fatigue, or mild stomach discomfort usually improve as your body adjusts.
However, if side effects become severe like persistent vomiting, yellowing of eyes/skin, or extreme weakness you should consult your doctor immediately.
Most side effects are manageable, and completing the full course of treatment is very important for recovery.
