How to Recover Hair Health After Hair Botox Treatment ?

I got a hair botox treatment done this year, and now my hair is returning to normal. However, it feels like the treatment has damaged my hair. I have a lot of dandruff and breakage, and bald spots are appearing in the front. I’ve been applying coconut oil, but the improvement is very slow. What can I do?

Treatments like hair botox, smoothing, cysteine, or keratin ultimately damage your hair. Hair contains sulfur bonds, and these treatments break some of those bonds to achieve temporary smoothness, which can leave hair looking frizzy and dry once the effect wears off.

This can also lead to breakage and thinning over time. In such cases, it’s important to visit a hair expert or dermatologist, who can examine exactly where the hair loss is occurring and recommend appropriate treatment.

You may have heard of well-known serums like minoxidil, which is FDA-approved to help control hair fall. Sometimes you may need more than just oils and topical treatments; a serum or procedure like PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) might be necessary to protect and strengthen your hair.

Hair botox and smoothing treatments are only temporary solutions and are not good for long-term hair health they can cause breakage, hair shaft weakening, and overall hair damage. A qualified specialist can guide you on the safest and most effective way to improve hair health.
