How visible are scars after breast surgery?

I’m concerned about scarring after surgery. How visible are scars, and are there ways to minimize them over time?

You don’t need to worry too much about scarring. Modern techniques place incisions in discreet areas such as under the breast fold, around the areola, or in the armpit. With proper aftercare and the use of silicone gels or laser treatments if needed, scars usually fade significantly and become barely noticeable over time.
