Is My Piles Condition Severe and Is Laser Surgery the Right Treatment Option?
I’ve been suffering from piles for about a month. Initially, there was bleeding which stopped after 10 days, but the pain inside has been increasing. The pile mass keeps coming out and goes back inside, and now it feels like it’s almost permanently outside. Sometimes the pain becomes severe and lasts for up to two hours. I want to understand how serious my condition is, what treatment options are available, and what life will be like after treatment.

Based on what you’ve described, this appears to be a piles problem that has progressed to an advanced stage, possibly fourth stage, where the pile mass comes out frequently and causes significant pain. Even though bleeding has reduced, increasing internal pain is a sign that the condition needs proper medical attention.
Medicines can provide temporary relief, and it’s good that pain has reduced at times, but they may not be enough for advanced piles. The most effective and long-term solution in such cases is laser surgery, which is an advanced and minimally invasive treatment.
Laser treatment typically takes around 30–40 minutes, and most patients are able to return to normal activities from the next day itself. After treatment, you can go out as usual, but lifestyle changes are important such as reducing heavy gym workouts, avoiding oily and fried food, limiting alcohol intake, and following a light, healthy diet for the next few months.
Regarding insurance, only private or corporate health insurance is applicable; government health policies are not supported. A physical examination by the doctor is essential before confirming treatment or cost, as internal findings can differ from what we assume externally.
