Laser Hair Removal Sessions : Per Sitting or Per Body Part?

Are laser hair removal sessions counted per sitting or per body part? How does the number of sessions differ for full-body treatment versus treating specific areas, and why are maintenance sessions sometimes required?

Regarding sessions, the five to six sessions you mentioned are not per sitting for the entire body. The number of sessions depends on the area being treated and the patient’s requirement. Some patients opt for full-body laser hair reduction, while others choose specific areas such as underarms, bikini area, hands, or legs. For full-body treatment, each body part is counted separately.
For example, when hands are treated, that counts as one session for hands; when legs are treated, that counts as one session for legs. In subsequent visits, the patient needs to come back with full hair growth in the treated area, whether that is after one month, one and a half months, or even two months.
Hair regrowth can happen, especially if there is an underlying hormonal imbalance, which is why maintenance sessions may be required.
