A sudden change from 5–6 day periods to just 1–2 days with lighter flow usually points to a hormonal imbalance, not something to ignore.
Your hormone values (FSH 6.4 and LH 2.9) are within a general range, but the LH:FSH ratio is lower than expected, which can still affect ovulation and menstrual flow. Lighter periods can happen due to:
- Irregular or weak ovulation
- Thyroid issues
- Stress, weight changes, or lifestyle shifts
