Miscarriage and fertility impact on future pregnancy and recommended evaluation ?

Does miscarriage increase the chances of infertility or add some complications in future pregnancies? I am very scared because I want to be a mother, but this loss has left me uncertain. What is the usual diagnose for women after one or two miscarriages?

A miscarriage is heartbreaking, but in most cases it does not mean infertility. Many women go on to have healthy pregnancies afterwards. The chances of having another miscarriage do not increase much after just one event. Doctors usually do not recommend extensive investigations after a single miscarriage, since it is often caused by random genetic issues in that pregnancy. If miscarriages happen more than once, then tests are done to look for treatable causes. Unless there are repeated losses or specific health issues, the outlook for future pregnancies remains positive.
