Misoprostol only – bleeding done, is abortion complete?

I have missed my period...after testing it came positive..so i consult a doctor and done ultrasound..she said it was early pregnancy..she prescribed me to take only mifprostol.. without mifipristone.. because in ultrasound no baby echo sounds heard...after 6-8hrs heavy bleeding occurs..lasts for 24 hrs..no further bleeding occurs..only spotting is seen..is completely obertion done..am not understanding

Based on what you described, it’s not possible to confirm that the abortion is complete just from bleeding pattern. Taking misoprostol alone can work in early pregnancy, and heavy bleeding for 24 hours followed by spotting can be normal. but sometimes tissue may still remain.
👉 The only way to be sure is:
- Ultrasound after 7–14 days, or
- Repeat pregnancy test after ~2 weeks
