Multiple Lipomas on Body : Causes, Symptoms and Best Treatment Options

I’ve been noticing multiple small swellings on both my arms for the past 2–3 years. Initially, there was just one small lump, but gradually more have appeared, and now I have around 6–7 of them. They feel soft and slightly movable, and sometimes there’s mild pain when I press them for long. I’m worried about what these lumps could be and whether they are serious. Can these be treated with medicines, or do they require surgery? Also, is there any risk of them turning into something dangerous?

From your description, these swellings are most likely lipomas, which are benign (non-cancerous) growths made up of fat cells. They are quite common and usually harmless. When a person develops multiple lipomas, it is often referred to as multiple lipomatosis, which can sometimes have a genetic tendency, meaning it may run in families.
Unfortunately, there is no effective medicine available here whether allopathic, ayurvedic, or homeopathic that can dissolve or stop lipomas from forming. The only reliable treatment is minor surgery (micro excision), where each lipoma is removed through a tiny cut under local anesthesia.
