What is the IUI process, and does sperm quality matter in it?

Yes, sperm quality definitely matters for fertility whether it’s IUI, natural conception, IVF, or any assisted procedure. Quality is a broad term, but when we talk about semen parameters, we look at sperm count, motility (movement), and morphology (shape). These parameters are assessed according to WHO criteria, and if they are not within the normal range, we evaluate how much they are off. Based on that, we decide the most suitable mode of treatment for the patient.
