When Will My Period Come After Taking I-Pill?
I took I-Pill 5 days ago and my period is now 3 days late. Is this delay caused by the tablet? How much of a delay is normal, and when should I test for pregnancy to be sure everything is fine

I-Pill contains a high dose of levonorgestrel, and disrupting the timing of your next period is one of its most common side effects.
After taking I-Pill, your period can come earlier than expected, on time, or up to 7 days late. The hormonal spike alters your cycle’s normal rhythm. A 3-day delay is within normal range give it a few more days.
When to test: if your period is more than 7 days late, take a home pregnancy test using first morning urine.
One thing worth knowing: some women get a withdrawal bleed (spotting or light bleeding) within a few days of taking I-Pill. This is not your real period your actual period will arrive at its adjusted time in the following weeks.
