Subacute Sinusitis surgery costs in India

Subacute sinusitis is a condition that occurs when acute sinusitis gets more complicated even if the treatment continues. There are three types of sinusitis, and they are differentiated based on the severity and how long the symptoms last. Acute sinusitis lasts up to 4 to 5 weeks, and chronic sinusitis lasts more than 12 weeks. Subacute sinusitis lies in between when symptoms last between 4 to 12 weeks.

During this process, the surgeon inserts a balloon into the infected sinuses using an endoscope to clear the sinuses and expand the air channels.

• Caldwell-Luc surgery

In order to reach the sinus chamber and drain the sinuses, the surgeon creates an incision above the maxilla during a Caldwell Luc operation, which is a traditional approach to cure severe sinusitis.
