Recurrent Miscarriages With Hormonal Imbalance Can Treatment Alone Help or is IUI/IVF Needed?

I’ve been experiencing repeated miscarriages over the past two years, and hormonal tests revealed low progesterone and high prolactin levels. I am mentally exhausted, and my spouse and I feel helpless. Can medical treatments alone like hormone therapy help, or will we need procedures like IUI or IVF to achieve a successful pregnancy?

Hormonal imbalances such as low progesterone and high prolactin can sometimes be corrected with medications like progesterone supplements, bromocriptine, or other hormone therapies.

If these treatments restore ovulation and improve the uterine environment, natural conception may be possible. However, if miscarriages continue despite hormonal correction, fertility procedures like IUI or IVF may be recommended to maximize chances of maintaining pregnancy.

Close monitoring, lifestyle optimization, and psychological support are critical, as repeated losses can be emotionally taxing.
