Risks and Safety in Breast Reduction Surgery

I’m worried about potential surgical risks. Are complications like infection, excessive bleeding, scarring, or loss of nipple sensation common in breast reduction surgery, and how are they usually managed?

It’s natural to be concerned about surgical risks, but please don’t worry too much. While complications like infection, bleeding, scarring, or temporary changes in nipple sensation can occur, they are quite uncommon when the surgery is performed by an experienced plastic surgeon.

Proper pre-surgical evaluation, sterile technique, and post-operative care greatly reduce these risks, and most side effects, if they happen, are temporary and easily managed.
