Since you have PCOS, your hormone levels can get unbalanced, which often causes periods to be irregular or last longer than normal. Bleeding for more than 15 days, even if it’s light (like using only 1–2 pads a day), is not considered normal and should be checked by a gynecologist. The mild pain in your lower back or waist is also common with prolonged periods.
It is important to see a doctor, who may suggest blood tests to check your hormones and an ultrasound to look at your ovaries and uterus. Keeping a note of how many days you bleed, how heavy it is, and any pain you feel will help the doctor decide the best treatment.
Usually, treatment may include hormonal medicines to help regulate your periods. Simple lifestyle changes like healthy eating, regular exercise, and maintaining a healthy weight can also improve your hormone balance and help with PCOS.
Even though your bleeding is light, you should see a doctor soon. Go immediately if you notice very heavy bleeding, severe pain, dizziness, or feeling faint. Early treatment can help manage your periods and PCOS more safely.

PCOS Light but prolonged bleeding for 15 days with back pain may indicate hormonal imbalance.
So consult a gynecologist through face-to-face consultation, call, or message for proper evaluation and treatment.
