Does Health Insurance Cover Gynecomastia Surgery?

I have health insurance, will it cover gynecomastia surgery? I want to know whether insurance companies approve this procedure or if I need to plan the expenses myself.

Gynecomastia surgery is generally considered a cosmetic procedure by most insurance companies. Because of this, it is not counted as a medical disease under standard insurance policies.
Even if the surgery is mentioned along with discomfort or pain, there is still a very high chance (around 99%) of claim rejection. For this reason, most patients who are already aware of this usually prefer self-payment or EMI options instead of insurance.
During consultation, we can guide you properly about cost planning and available payment options so you can choose what suits you best.
