I had an accident about a year ago which left noticeable scars on my hand. The wound was initially managed with dressing and no stitches were applied at that time, which seems to have resulted in a larger scar. I want to know what treatment options are available now to improve the scar. Can scar revision surgery help, and are there non-surgical options like injections or silicone sheets? Also, what kind of results can I realistically expect?
