Why are periods missed after taking emergency contraceptive pill?

I missed my periods in May. I had 1st sex in March after that I took i pill, withdraw bleeding for 3 days was there in April and normal periods also came in April but in May I had 2nd time sex and I don't get me periodsI took pregnancy test which is negative so what is probability to come my periods now or should consider as miss periods or it's pill effect

Based on what you described, pregnancy is less likely because you had a normal period in April after taking the I-Pill, and your recent pregnancy test is negative. Emergency contraceptive pills can sometimes affect hormone levels and cause delayed, early, or irregular periods even in the following cycles.

Since you had intercourse again in May, if your period is delayed by more than a week, it would be a good idea to repeat the pregnancy test and consult a gynecologist if the delay continues. In many cases, the period arrives on its own, but persistent delay should be evaluated to rule out hormonal imbalance or pregnancy.
