Changes in cycle length can occur due to hormonal fluctuations, thyroid disorders, stress, perimenopausal changes, or other reproductive health conditions. Even if periods are still occurring regularly, a noticeable shift in timing may signal an underlying imbalance.
Monitoring the pattern over several cycles can be helpful. If the change continues or is accompanied by heavy bleeding, pain, or other symptoms, a gynecological evaluation is recommended.
