What is a painless growing lump on the forearm?

I have a soft lump on my forearm which I noticed some time back, but recently it seems like it is getting bigger day by day. It does not really hurt, but I keep worrying about what it could be. can this be a lipoma, and do I need to remove it even if there is no pain?
