Why is heavy bleeding recurring after taking abortion pill?
"I took a pill on 1 July. After that, I had heavy bleeding for 4–5 days, then it became normal. After that, I had light spotting (drop-wise bleeding) until 18 July. Then I was fine for some time, but on 31 July, bleeding started again. It was normal for 3–4 days and then became light spotting. However, 2–3 days ago, heavy bleeding started again. What should I do?"

Recurring or prolonged bleeding after a medical termination can sometimes indicate incomplete abortion, hormonal changes, or other complications. It is important to consult your doctor promptly, as heavy or recurring bleeding weeks after the procedure may require further evaluation such as an ultrasound to rule out retained tissue or other issues. Please do not delay seeking medical attention in this case.
