Taking emergency contraceptive pills can significantly affect your menstrual cycle, causing irregular bleeding, spotting, or a delayed period.

The bleeding you experienced on 6th August was likely withdrawal bleeding triggered by the prescribed medication, and it is common for your next period to be early, late, or different from usual. If your period is more than a week late, it is advisable to take a pregnancy test and consult a doctor to rule out any concerns.
