Effective Relief for Ankle Varicose Veins?
I have bilateral varicose veins, especially around my ankle, and I also get knee pain because of it. Can you guide me on whether varicose veins spray can help? Also, are Tynor stockings for varicose veins effective for my condition? I tried certain home remedies before, but they didn’t give me significant relief.

As a doctor, I can tell you that sprays marketed for varicose veins, often containing herbal ingredients like horse chestnut or menthol, may provide temporary relief from pain or swelling, but they do not treat the underlying vein dysfunction.
But always remember that these can be used as supportive care, but should not replace medical treatment. Also, tynor compression stockings, which you’ve asked for, are a reliable and widely used option in India. These are effective if used correctly, especially with a 20–30 mmHg pressure level.
However, since you have bilateral varicose veins around the ankle and knee pain, a comprehensive approach, including compression, medications, and possibly vascular consultation, is recommended.
