Gynecomastia: Is Surgery the Only Permanent Solution?

I've been struggling with gynecomastia for years, and it’s badly affecting my confidence. I’ve tried exercising and dieting, but it hasn’t gone away. Is surgery the only permanent solution? Can medication or hormonal treatment help in certain cases?

If you’ve had gynecomastia for years and exercise or dieting hasn’t helped, it’s likely because the breast tissue is glandular, not just fat. In such cases, surgery is the most effective and lasting option. Medicines or hormone treatments usually don’t work after the tissue has been there for a long time. Before surgery, doctors check your hormones to make sure nothing else is causing it. Surgery can really help improve your confidence and chest shape.
