How does a dengue mosquito look, and can we identify it easily?
I always hear that dengue is caused by a specific type of mosquito, but honestly, all mosquitoes look the same to me. Is there any way to identify a dengue mosquito at home? If we can recognize it, maybe we can be more careful around those areas.

Dengue is spread by the Aedes mosquito, which has some distinct features. It is usually black with white stripes on its legs and body, which makes it look slightly different from common mosquitoes. Unlike malaria mosquitoes, Aedes mosquitoes are active during the daytime, especially early morning and late afternoon.
However, it’s not always easy to identify them accurately, so it’s best to take precautions against all mosquito bites and eliminate breeding spots around your home.
