Bleeding after taking an emergency contraceptive pill (like I-Pill) is a common side effect and can last anywhere from a few days to a week. This bleeding is not your regular period but a withdrawal bleed caused by the hormonal changes from the pill. Your next period may be delayed or arrive earlier than expected. Since you took the pill within 2 hours of unprotected intercourse, the chances of pregnancy are very low, but if your next period is significantly delayed, it is advisable to take a pregnancy test and consult a doctor.
