Is it normal to have multiple soft painless lumps on the arm?
I have several soft lumps on my arm, and I recently noticed that there are more than before. They don’t hurt, but seeing multiple lumps together is worrying. Are these likely lipomas, and is it normal to have many at once?

Multiple soft, painless lumps under the skin are commonly lipomas, which are benign fatty growths that can appear in clusters or increase in number over time. While lipomas are generally harmless, having multiple ones (a condition sometimes called multiple lipomatosis) is not uncommon. It is advisable to consult a doctor for a proper evaluation to confirm the diagnosis and rule out any other conditions, especially since you’ve noticed an increase in their number.
