Is light bleeding after MTP kit a sign of incomplete abortion?
i was 5 weeks pregnant and took an MTP kit. I took the first tablet, and after 48 hours I took the remaining 4 tablets. I started bleeding within an hour, but the bleeding was not very heavy. It was moderate for two episodes and then stopped. Now I only have 3–4 drops of blood when I go to the washroom. Does this mean the abortion is not complete

At 5 weeks of pregnancy, the amount of bleeding after an MTP kit can vary. Some women have only moderate or light bleeding, and this does not necessarily mean the abortion is incomplete.
However, bleeding alone cannot confirm that the abortion is complete. Follow up with your gynecologist as advised. A Beta hCG test or ultrasound is usually recommended to confirm that the pregnancy has ended completely. Seek immediate medical care if you develop severe abdominal pain, heavy bleeding, fever, or foul smelling discharge.
