Is light bleeding and spotting after abortion pill a sign of success?

i took my pregnancy test and it came out positive. while calculating LMP, i was 5 weeks pregnant. i used unwanted kit. i started bleeding after 19 hours of first dose and took second dose per vagina along with paracetamol. i felt little abdominal cramps and bleeding with clots. overall i soaked 2 pads in 6 hours and then drastically bleeding has reduced completely. after 24 hours little bit spotting, little bleeding is happening but negligible one. is it the right and successful pattern? please let me know.

The pattern you describe – bleeding with clots followed by reduced flow and light spotting , can be a normal response after taking the prescribed medication for medical termination of pregnancy.
However, the effectiveness of the procedure cannot be confirmed based on bleeding patterns alone, as some cases may appear to have reduced bleeding yet remain incomplete.
