When medication does not provide adequate relief for endometriosis and the pain significantly affects daily life, surgery may indeed be considered as the next step. Surgical options like laparoscopy can help remove endometrial tissue and provide long-term relief. It is completely understandable to feel anxious about surgery, but consulting a gynecologist will help evaluate whether surgery is the right choice based on the severity of the condition.
