Right and Bilateral Hydrocele: Surgery or Ayurveda?

What causes hydrocele in adults, and which doctor to consult for hydrocele? I have a right sided hydrocele, and recently was told about bilateral minimal hydrocele. Can hydrocele be cured without surgery, or should I consider the best ayurvedic medicine for hydrocele? I want safe, effective treatment.

I understand your concern. Hydrocele in adults occurs when fluid collects around the testis, often due to injury, infection, or without a clear cause. The right specialist to consult is a urologist, or general surgeon who deals with conditions related to the urinary tract and male reproductive system. As for treatment, mild or minimal hydroceles that don’t cause discomfort can be observed.
However, once the swelling increases or starts troubling you, the only definitive and safe treatment is surgical correction (hydrocelectomy). This is a minor procedure, usually done under anesthesia, with very good long-term results. Non-surgical methods, including ayurvedic treatment, unfortunately, do not provide a permanent cure.
