What is an allergy test, and do I really need one?
I’ve been dealing with frequent skin rashes and occasional breathing discomfort, but I’m not sure what’s causing it. Some people suggested getting an allergy test done, but I don’t know what that involves. Is an allergy test necessary in such cases? How does it work, and will it actually help in finding the exact cause?

An allergy test helps identify the specific substances (allergens) that trigger your symptoms. Common types include skin prick tests and blood tests, where your body’s reaction to certain allergens is checked. These tests are usually simple and safe.
If your symptoms are frequent or severe, an allergy test can be very helpful in identifying triggers and planning the right treatment and prevention strategy.
