What Is the Treatment Process for Gynecomastia and How Can I Consult a Doctor?

I feel that my chest size has increased and I am not sure whether it is gynecomastia or just fat deposits. I want to understand what kind of treatment is available, how the procedure is done, and whether I need to consult a doctor first. Also, where can I consult a specialist, what is the consultation fee, and what should I bring for the visit? I have also heard about medicines for increasing or reducing chest size are tablets effective for this condition?

First of all, it is important to consult a doctor to confirm whether the condition is gynecomastia (gland enlargement) or only fat deposition, as this cannot be diagnosed without proper clinical evaluation.

If gynecomastia is confirmed, the treatment is a minor daycare surgical procedure that includes two steps: liposuction to remove excess fat and gland excision to remove the enlarged gland. The surgery is performed using self-dissolving stitches and usually does not require a long hospital stay.

You can consult Dr. Patish Thakor, a senior plastic surgeon with 15–20 years of experience, at Lajpat Nagar. The consultation fee is ₹600, and consultation timings are between 1 PM and 3 PM. For the visit, please bring a passport-size photograph of your chest area.

Yes, this WhatsApp number is correct kindly send your name and age on WhatsApp so that your appointment can be scheduled and further details can be shared. Regarding medicines, there are no tablets or medications that can treat or increase chest size in gynecomastia,

so please avoid taking any medicine without a doctor’s advice  concerns about size or appearance should be discussed directly with the specialist for proper guidance.
