What precautions should we take to help eliminate malaria from our surroundings?
In our locality, malaria cases tend to rise every year during monsoon, and it feels like no matter what we do individually, the problem keeps coming back. I want to understand what precautions we, as a family and community, should take not just to protect ourselves but also to reduce the overall spread of malaria in our area.

To control and eventually reduce malaria, both personal and community-level efforts are important.
At home, avoid stagnant water, use mosquito nets and repellents, and keep surroundings clean. At the community level, proper waste management, drainage systems, and regular fogging by local authorities are crucial.
Awareness and early treatment also play a key role. If more people take preventive steps together, the overall spread of malaria can be significantly reduced.
