If you have taken the first dose of an MTP kit and have little or no bleeding, it does not necessarily mean the medication has failed. Do not take extra tablets on your own. Follow the schedule given by your gynecologist and contact them if you have concerns.
After completing the prescribed medication, your doctor may recommend an ultrasound or Beta hCG test to confirm whether the abortion was successful. Seek urgent medical care if you develop severe abdominal pain, dizziness, fainting, fever, or very heavy bleeding.
