Why is spotting and irregular bleeding happening after taking the prescribed medication?

hello ma'am I am taking I pill on 19 july 2026 and my periods date is on the 10th July ko aaya tha uske baad mujhe spoting aana chalu hua 1 August se aor pura aabhi tak spoting aa hi Raha hai aaj almost 12 din ho gaya kal raat se thoda bleeding jayeda hua hai mujhe yese doubt lag raha tha to mein pregnancy test ki to negative aaya to mera periods kab tak aayega ki kuch samajh nahi Raha hai kya ho raha hai mujhe pain yesa kuch nahi hhai aabhi tak

Aapne 19 July ko I-pill (emergency contraceptive) li thi, iske baad spotting ya bleeding aur next period ka time aage-peeche hona common hai.
Aapka pregnancy test negative aana reassuring hai. Lekin agar 19 July ke baad unprotected sex hua tha, to pregnancy test ko last unprotected sex ke 3 hafte baad repeat karna better rahega.
Abhi 12 din se spotting/bleeding ho rahi hai, isliye gynaecologist se consult karna advisable hai, especially agar bleeding badh rahi hai. Severe pain, chक्कर/बेहोशी, ya bahut heavy bleeding ho to urgent medical care lein.
