Why is there no bleeding 48 hours after using the prescribed medication for abortion?

jus found out I am 4 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I visited my healthcare provider and I was given misoprostol. 3 was inserted in the vigina and I was instructed to use day and night. that is 3 in the morning and 3 in the evening. it been 48 hours of using this drug yet there is no bleeding. what could be the cause.
