My sister has taken one mifepristone on 31.07.26 at 21:30 on the 39th day of pregnancy. After that on 01.08.26 she has taken 2 cytolog 200 at 21:30 and at 3:30 am on 02.08.26 rest 2 misoprostol taken by her. Now she had only light spot along with loose motion no heavy bleeding. what to do?

Light spotting can occur after abortion pills, especially early in the process, but spotting alone does not confirm that the abortion was successful. Bleeding patterns vary depending on factors such as pregnancy duration and individual response to the medication.
If you have had only minimal bleeding or no significant bleeding after misoprostol, contact your gynecologist for guidance rather than taking additional doses on your own. A follow up ultrasound or pregnancy test at the recommended time can confirm whether the abortion is complete. Seek urgent care for severe pain, fainting, fever, or very heavy bleeding.
Repeat sonography & consult a Gynaecologist as it may be failure or incomplete abortion.
