Why Do Good Quality Embryos Sometimes Fail to Implant?
Why do embryo transfers fail even when the embryo is said to be good quality? It feels extremely discouraging to invest emotionally and financially only to not know what went wrong. What are the most common reasons behind failed transfers?

Even high-quality embryos sometimes fail to implant because implantation depends on multiple factors. These include the receptivity of the uterine lining, immune factors, hormonal balance, and subtle embryo genetics that may not be detectable.
In some cases, issues like thin endometrium, undiagnosed infections, or blood flow problems can also play a role. A failed embryo transfer does not automatically mean something is wrong; sometimes it’s simply biology not aligning perfectly that month.
