How Much Activity Is Safe After an Embryo Transfer?

After embryo transfer, I’m scared to move, walk too much, or do anything wrong. What activities genuinely impact implantation, what doesn’t matter at all, and how do women cope with the anxiety during the two-week wait?

Implantation is not influenced by walking, climbing stairs, or gentle daily activities. The embryo does not fall or shift because it is placed inside the uterus, where it naturally settles. What truly matters is avoiding smoking, alcohol, heavy lifting, or high-intensity workouts. The two-week wait is mentally exhausting, so distractions, light routines, and staying connected with your support system help. Doctors often advise living a normal routine to avoid unnecessary stress.
